L'article en bref

Opale Capital launches Opale Capital Strategies Growth II, a Growth Buyout fund specialising in healthcare and critical software, enabling individual investors to invest alongside tier-one General Partners (GPs). Accessible from 100,000 euros, this second vintage targets a multiple of 2.2x by supporting the operational growth of approximately 50 companies.

Paris, 19 March 2026. Opale Capital, a specialist in the selection of international Private Equity and Private Debt funds, announces the launch of Opale Capital Strategies Growth II, the second vintage of its Growth Buyout strategy. This fund will invest alongside three leading alternative asset management firms: KKR, PSG Equity and Gilde Healthcare.

The strategy offers strong diversification for individual investors seeking exposure to private markets, with an allocation targeting 80% European assets and 20% North American assets, through a target portfolio of approximately 50 companies spread across the three selected funds.

In keeping with the philosophy of the first vintage, the team remains convinced that specialisation represents the best approach for this asset class. The three selected funds are thus mono-sectoral, focused either on healthcare, via Gilde Healthcare, or on technology and more specifically the critical software segment, via KKR and PSG Equity. Two of the three funds are oversubscribed, but Opale Capital has successfully negotiated an allocation with the General Partners (GPs) in order to offer its clients access to funds that are typically reserved for institutional investors.

"The Growth Buyout funds we select create value through value creation mechanisms that we consider reproducible, by accompanying the operational growth of the companies they acquire, without relying on leverage or EBITDA multiple expansion. Furthermore, the investment timing strikes us as particularly opportune in these sectors: healthcare is driven by structural macro-trends, while technology is benefiting from an interesting phase of the cycle where numerous opportunities should emerge. This is why we are delighted to be able to give individual investors diversified access to these strategies through our vehicle," said Edouard Leurent, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Opale Capital.

Managed by Opale Capital and structured as a Fonds Professionnel Spécialisé (FPS), this second vintage will be accessible from 100,000 euros and may be invested through staged capital calls or a single capital call. The fund targets a net investment multiple above 2.2x.
